Our vision is a vibrant, self-sustaining community where everyone shops local; for food, fun, and healthcare! It is about working, playing, shopping, and giving to the special place on earth where we reside - Madison County, Florida. Our Story

Friends of the Hospital began in the hearts and minds of people in our community who knew we didn't want Madison, Florida to become a ghost town. As many rural hospitals across the nation were closing its door, these folks saw an opportunity and were fueled with a passion, to make sure that this hospital never closed and that it became all it could be for this community.

Meet the Team

The Executive & Marketing Liaison for Friends of the Hospital is Mrs. CeAaron Plunkett. CeAaron is a native of South Florida, where she grew up enjoying all that our Florida beaches have to offer. Mr. Patrick McGee, the CFO for Madison County Memorial Hospital, gives of his time and talent to ensure the Foundation's financial records are punctual and accurate. Mrs. Tammy Stevens, one of the founding members, is the CEO of Madison County Memorial Hospital. She gives her time, talent, and treasure to the hospital and also the Foundation. Ms. Annette Johnson, a local businesswoman, and Hospital Board Member has also played an intricate part in the Foundation since its inception.

CeAaron Plunkett

Executive & Marketing Liaison

CeAaron has over 15 years of healthcare experience and moved to Madison County in 2021, where she began her journey at MCMH as the Outpatient Coordinator. Now serving as the Executive and Marketing Liaison, she strives to make a positive impact on both the hospital and the community. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and their three German shepherds.

Patrick McGee

CFO

Mr. McGee has over 20 years of experience in healthcare with a background in financial leadership in the hospital and nursing home industries. Not only is Patrick an expert in financial matters he also has a creative side which is the driving force behind the beautifully handwritten signs that appear in the hospital and at Foundation functions.

Tammy Stevens

Hospital CEO

Mrs. Stevens comes to the Foundation with over 31 years of experience in healthcare and a background in Home Health Administration, Nursing Administration, and Quality Management. Mrs. Steven is the heart of the hospital and this community.
