Admission Registrars are in charge of collecting patient information and verifying insurance detail on behalf of their organization. They are responsible for gathering payment data, keeping accurate records of patient interactions, and handling other tasks at a hospital information desk.

Administer anesthesia, monitor patients vital signs, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia.

THIS IS A LICENSED POSITION

Employee is responsible for providing holistic patient care according to individualized Nursing Care Plans for each assigned patient. Employee is required to provide care for and record the care given to patients at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Participate and work cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other departments to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the hospital setting. Supervises supportive personnel (PCT, CNA, PCA) assigned directly to medical floor to assist with patient care.

THIS IS A LICENSED POSITION

The Emergency Room Technician/ EMT assures that patient care is being facilitated per facility policy and procedures during his or her shift. Notifies appropriate administrative staff with any event or occurrence that is not standard practice of the facility. Assists and performs clinical, non-clinical, and clerical duties as needed. Adheres to the MCMH Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Performs specific duties and skills as defined in competency assessment.  Only performs care within scope of practice.

Medical Technologists are responsible for testing in all areas of the Clinical Laboratory. This includes pre and post sample testing along with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and participating in Continuous Quality Improvement.

Produces high quality, diagnostic radiographic images at the written request of the patient’s physician under the supervision of the Department Medical Director/Radiologist. Assists the Radiologist and other physicians in the performance of patient care in a safe, courteous, efficient and ethical manner. Participates in all aspects of department function

Respiratory therapists assist patients who have breathing difficulties. These include chronic respiratory diseases, such as emphysema and asthma. Patients include infants with undeveloped lungs to adult patients with lung disease. They may also give emergency aid for a breathing problem, heart attack, drowning, and shock.

THIS IS A LICENSED POSITION

As a Respiratory Therapy Manager, you supervise respiratory therapy technicians and personnel, oversee department operations, approve and direct budgets, hire and manage employees, and fill in for respiratory therapy technicians as necessary. Your responsibilities include providing respiratory therapy treatment to patients, supervising and disciplining respiratory technicians, reporting to department heads or directors, preparing reports, and utilizing, evaluating, and maintaining equipment. Your job duties also include direct patient communication and treatment, training and evaluating personnel, and delegating tasks to staff. You can find respiratory therapy manager roles in hospitals, doctor’s offices, home care companies, and other healthcare facilities.

THIS IS A LICENSED POSITION

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the state of Florida to practice professional registered nursing. Minimum 1 year nursing experience required. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.  BLS required before employment.

THIS IS A LICENSED POSITION

Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff by patrolling and monitoring the premises.

Must be licensed in the State of Florida, Class D and Class G.
